You Want Help That Actually Leads Somewhere

Pretending everything is fine stopped working a while ago.

You’ve handled it your own way for months, maybe years: staying busy, praying harder, putting everyone else’s needs ahead of your own.

What’s worn you down most is the pretending, and you’re out of energy to keep it up.

And the part that’s kept you from reaching out is the picture of therapy that goes on for years with nobody ever telling you you’re done.

Your Therapy Is Built to End

Most people don’t need to sit in counseling for the rest of their lives.

You come to me because one specific part of your life needs to change right now, and that’s the part we work on. I look at the whole of you while we do it: body, soul, and spirit.

You’ll get the tools, a different perspective, and the healing you came for. Then you get on with your life.

When you’re ready to go, I’ll be the one to tell you. If life hands you something new a year from now, a tune-up is yours whenever you want it.

You’ll Know the Plan and You’ll See It Working

The first stretch is about settling things down and getting specific about what you want to be different, and from there you’ll always know what you’re working on and what you’re working toward.

We build the tools together, and you practice them in the days between sessions, because that’s where the change actually happens.

There’s homework, and I don’t overload you.

You’ll fill out two short screenings at the start, the GAD-7 and the PHQ-9, and we’ll run them again as we go so your progress shows up as something more than a feeling.

Make Sure I’m the Right Fit for You

It has to be a good fit for both people, and I’ll tell you straight if it isn’t.

I don’t see teens, I don’t do couples work, and when someone comes to me carrying fresh trauma I refer them to a therapist trained in EMDR.

Everything happens online, from the first conversation to the last one.

Clients who weren’t sure they’d be comfortable meeting that way tell me afterward it was a lot easier than they expected.

Schedule Your Free Consultation

Reach out and we’ll set up a free consultation, online, at a time that works around your week.

Tell me what’s been happening and what you want to be different by the time we’re finished.

I’ll walk you through how I’d approach it, what the plan would look like, and whether I’m the right person for it.

This work has an ending, and this is where it starts.

The first 15 minutes

Make the Call
You’ve Been Putting Off

The consultation is free and runs about 15 minutes. I book it myself, so you’ll be talking with me rather than a scheduling system.

You’ll tell me what the hardest part has been lately and what you want to be different by the time we’re finished, and I’ll tell you how I’d approach it and where we’d start.

You don’t need the answers worked out before you dial. If weary is the word you’d use for this stretch of your life, that’s reason enough to pick up the phone.
